Snyman is a product of the Bulls Academy. his fans and collegues also call him ‘The Viking’ for his Viking-like appearance. Rudolph plays for the Irish club Munster and the Springboks.

BRIEF BACKGROUND.

Rugby star RG Snyman was born in Potchefstroom, South Africa. His mother, Annelie, died during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. RG Snyman’s height is 206 centimeters and weight are 131 kilograms. He is also a product of the Afrikaanse Hoër Seunskool school. He is currently the tallest Springboks player, followed by Jean Kleyn and Eben Etzebeth. The Springboks star got engaged to his sweetheart Saskia in March 2019 and wedded in November of that year at the Greenhouse Café on the outskirts of eastern Pretoria.

YOUTH CAREER.

Snyman the lock showed his potential in primary school, where he represented the Blue Bulls in the 2008 and 2013 Under-13 and 18 Craven Week competitions. He also represented them at the 2011 Under-16 Grant Khomo Week in East London. Syman was then selected in the South African Schools team that played against England, France and Wales.

SENIOR CAREER.

RG joined the Bulls Academy and played in their U19 side during the 2014 Provincial Championship. In   2015 he debuted in the Bulls opening match of the 2015 Vodacom Cup against the Falcons. The Bulls extended his contract until October 2017 following his decent performances. Syman played 49 games for the Bulls in two years. He scored 10 points, including two tries for the South African club before moving overseas for greener pastures.

Snyman joined the Mie Honda Heat in the Japanese 2017 Top Challenge League. He made 19 appearances for the side and netted 25 points, then joined Munster in Ireland. The lock played only ten games for the Irish club in four years due to injuries. Munster competes in the United Rugby Championship and the European Rugby Champions Cup.

RG helped the club lift the 2022-23 United Rugby Championship after defeating the Stormers in the final in Cape Town. He announced his decision to leave the club at the end of the 2023-24 season to join Leinster

RG began with South Africa’s U-20 team in 2015 and later joined the A team. In 2018, he earned his first senior call and debuted on 9 June 2018 in Johannesburg. The talented lock helped South Africa finish second in the 2018 Rugby Championship before leading them to the world cup victory in 2019. The former Bulls player was among the star performers as the Springboks lifted the 2019 and the 2013 Rugby World Cup.
