Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings ordered eight (8) newbuild ships for three brands at Fincantieri, and confirmed the construction of a two-berth pier at Great Stirrup Cay.

The order has new classes of ships for the three brands; Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line and Oceania Cruises. Deliveries are to be done over a ten-year period between 2026 and 2036.

DELIVERY SCHEDULE.

Four ships with a capacity of approximately five thousand passengers were ordered for the Norwegian Cruise line and are expected to be delivered in 2030, 2032, 2034 and 2036. This follows the delivery of four Prima-Plus class ships from 2025 to 2028.

Oceania is scheduled to take delivery in 2027 and 2029, of two 86 000 gross-ton-ships with a capacity of 1450 passengers. This is after the last delivery of its Allura Class Ships in 2025.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises is scheduled to take delivery in 2026 and 2029. The two ships to be delivered are 77000 gross-ton ships with a capacity of 850 guests each.

GREAT STIRRUP CAY PIER CONSTRUCTION.

The dock at Great Stirrup Cay, was approved by the Bahamas government in 2023 and is scheduled to break ground in summer 2024 and be completed by late 2025. The $150m facility will handle two large ships of the company’s current and future classes.
