It is very difficult to deal with a rejection after an interview. Being called for an interview just brings a little hope of landing your dream job. Just that call from the recruiting team is like a Ray of hope. But then what happens if you fail the interview?
Is it really proper to use the word fail? Not getting a call back after an interview doesn’t mean that you have failed. It simply means that spot was not meant for you. On another hand, being told that you did not make it to the next round of the interview or you didn’t get the job doesn’t mean you have failed.
Instead of seeing it as a failure take it as a lesson learnt or a step to the next level. Being rejected in one company shouldn’t make you feel like you are less than who you are. Some people start to feel like they wasted their time studying.
You should never be discouraged keep on with the job hunting until you get one. You can start working in lower positions just to bag some experience as you look for that job which is at your heart. This requires you to swallow your pride and be patient enough.
Sometimes you may opt to start a small business. It won’t be a smooth sail but it may be the beginning of a great empire. Shifting your focus from the disappointment to something positive is a great idea. Starting a business may help you create opportunities for others out there who cannot help themselves .
There is always something for you for as long as you live. Opportunities are endless but you have to look for them.
