A cruise job fair is an event that hosts many cruise line recruiters and recruitment agencies from different places in the world and you get to meet with them face to face.
Cruise Job Fair is proudly sponsored by Viking. Cruise job fairs take place in different places all around the world giving many people opportunities to apply for cruise ship jobs more effectively and quickly. It has been reported that job fairs are better than applying for a job online.
It maybe taken as a pre-interview as candidates and recruiters meet and the candidates introduce themselves and ask questions. You have to take this as an interview and go there looking presentable and always be professional.
Sometimes you get interviewed there and there and you can actually go home knowing if you are hired or not. On other occasions another date may be arranged for the interview. Make sure you bring a few copies of your curriculum vitae.
WELL, for the very first time Cruise Job Fairs are coming to South Africa, this year,2024. There is going to be two first ever events in Africa, taking place in Durban and Cape Town.
The Durban event will take place on the 15th of October 2024 from 11am to 4pm.
The Cape Town event will be on the 17th of October 2024 from 11am to 4pm.
Apply for a ticket which is free of charge. Selected candidates will receive the tickets and invitations before the event.
The venue of the will be let known to the selected candidates. You can only apply for a ticket to only one of the events, you cannot attend both.

However it thrills and give more excitement when you see and talk to your recruiting team live and face to face. I would like to attend one of the events. I also wish if it be also be held in my country Zimbabwe some day if possible. I personally am a chef with experience of more than 9 years in the bakery and pastry productions. I am a class 1 Artisan skilled Chef with a journeyman Card. I also hold a National Certificate in Professional Cookery. I wish to join the cruiseship crew .
