Monkey pox is fast spreading and is almost doing so just the way Covid-19 did. It is not yet declared a pandemic but it may result in that. There is a possibility.
Covid-19 caught us all unaware and it was quite difficult to adapt to the sudden changes in our social life, our economy and every other aspect t of life that was affected.
Businesses had to close down, we lost our freedom of movement, we lost our jobs and we lost thousands and thousands of people. Everyday of that horrible period was filled with news of deaths and sorrow all over the world.
I’m not here to threaten anybody but we just have to brace ourselves for the worst. Monkey pox is real and it may get us into the same path we had to trail down because of Covid -19.
Here is what I suggest we should do as a people. Businesses should put in place a plan of action to cater for its employees and to keep the ship afloat. At least people will not struggle to put food on their tables during that period.
Try to save some money for emergencies. Savings are always useful in times of trouble. You won’t have to struggle that much because you will have a starting point. Saving may seem difficult but it’s something you need to learn to do.
Be emotionally ready for the pain sorrow that comes with pandemics. People lose lives and its something that we never get used to. Death news is Death news is always saddening and it takes a lot to deal with.
People need to be taught about the pandemic. They need to know more about it so they can find a way to survive with it. They need to be taught about preventative measures and how to take care of those who have been infected.
People need to be aware of the signs and symptoms of the infection and what they should do immediately after getting infected or noticing that someone is infected.
People have to work together to get through this tough time.
Stay safe!
