Every person has to be doing something whether male or female. You have to consciously choose what is going to keep you busy otherwise something, usually bad, will find you or capture your mind and keep you busy.
If your kids are not busy with school then they will be busy doing something else that is unproductive. That is because nobody can stay idle for as long as they have their brains still functioning.
Maybe you have come to peace with the idea of staying at home doing nothing, but have you noticed how much you crave for attention? Have you noticed how dramatic and petty you have become all because you doing nothing productive and fulfilling. You feel unnoticed.
Being always available is not a cool thing. It is classy to be busy and always need to check your schedule each time someone asks you to do something or be somewhere with or for them. You will escape a lot of problems out there and you will be able to keep real people in your life.
Imagine throwing a surprise party for your lover using your own financing. It feels good to know that you toiled for that money and you used it to put a smile on his or her face.
You won’t have to deal with frowning faces of people complaining about you wasting money they have worked hard for. They will ask you if throwing a party was necessary. And yes, it is not necessary if you don’t have the money or you didn’t work for it.
It is more fulfilling to know that you are helping to put food on the table. You are contributing something to the wellbeing of your family. Be studying something, learn how to do some things like baking and cooking, start a business or find a job, hit the gym.
Don’t just wait for others to go and hustle and you just enjoy the benefits. Dear wives, house chores are not enough to make you a good partner. Do something that you will be proud of in your old age. Something you will use to motivate your kids with.
Remember, it is not all about money but you need to earn some money.. Don’t allow yourself to become anyone’s puppet because you don’t know how to be busy and independent. Be thirsty for success and be intentional about it.
