We are not all on the same level in life in different ways. We are all important and we all have purposes in this life. Your job is to find out what your purpose is so as to get a meaning and the essence of being alive.
We were born with different talents and that is meant to make life easier for everyone. What I can’t do, the next person can do it. That is why relationships and connections exist. You can’t do everything all by yourself for you can never know everything; nobody does.
That is why we have different kinds of engineers, different healthcare specialists etcetera. As we have different talents there are also many people who possess the same abilities as you do and that brings us to the fact that there is always a substitute or a replacement.
In whatever you do and wherever you go, keep in mind that there can always be a substitute or a replacement. This mentality applies to different situations or scenarios and may have positive or negative impact on your perspective. No matter how special or how talented you are, there is always someone who can do what you are doing.
Reminding yourself that there is always a substitute can make you bring out the best in you so that wherever you go, you will be remembered. At work be the best you can ever be such that your company cannot be able to replace you because you will be an asset of very high value.
If you ever get to a point where everyone around you admits that you are great, don’t allow pride to take over because the fact remains that you can still be substituted and or replaced. There is always someone eyeing your position. There is always someone who is better than you.
Blend your great talent or abilities with good character. People prefer to work with someone who has self respect and who respects boundaries. I have seen many falling because they get too familiar with bosses at work because they feel they can’t be replaced.
It is wiser to always push for the next level and keep in mind that there is always a substitute and or replacement. There is always someone willing to do extra for the little you are getting right now. If you are working for a company, remember you can be replaced anytime so invest in other things just in case you lose your job.
There is always a substitute mentality is usually detrimental when it comes to relationships, personal relationships. You can never commit to one person if you always think you can replace them, you can find someone better. You can never be able to value anyone who is in your life.
Just remember, everybody is unique and if you lose one person the next one will not be like them. Each time you enter into a relationship with someone, you give them a part of you that you will never get back. Once you lose it, you will never find it.
There is always a substitute so be the best you can ever be. Don’t rush into bringing people into your life before you are sure because they take from you each time they leave although you still find other people to get along with.
