About five cruise lines have been changing their itineraries because of hurricane Helene, a storm that has already caused a lot of damage in Florida.

The category 4 storm made a landfall in Florida causing the whole area to flood extremely and it has also caused damage to the power grid. So it is now a combination of a raging storm in darkness.

The Western Caribbean is one of the most popular cruising regions but it has to be avoided for safety reasons. The affected cruise lines include the Royal Caribbean, Carnival Cruise line, Disney Cruise Line, MSC Cruises and Virgin Voyages.

Airlines too were affected and cancelled a lot of fights in order to keep their passengers safe. People are being encouraged to avoid taking trips to the affected areas. Affected Airlines includes the Delta Airlines and American Airlines.

Royal Caribbean has five affected ships: Independence of the Seas, Serenade of the Seas, Mariner of the Seas, Grandeur of the Seas and Wo der of the Seas. These ships scrapped out some stops to avoid the storm that means spending more time on the sea.

Carnival Cruise line has kept eight of its ships under watch as they are watching the hurricane Helene closely for them to make effective alterations. Disney Cruise Line has two of its ships itineraries adjusted with one of the ships Disney wish already impacted.

Check with your  cruise line for updates, alterations, delays, port cancellations, and other storm impacts if you are a guest who has made bookings or is planning to make bookings with any cruise line.
