Ealing Haaland is a professional football player from Norway, born on July 21 in 2000. He is a striker for his national team and the Premier League club, Manchester City.
Haaland’s speed is mesmerising and is well known for his goal scoring ability. He was born in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England and he is 1.94 meters tall.
His youth career started at Norwegian sides Bryne and Molde. He later joined the Red Bull Salzburg in January 2019 after relocating to Austria. He later moved to Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund, where he won the DFB-Pokal in 2021.
Haaland later joined Manchester City in 2022 and he was named the league’s Young Player and Player of the Season, becoming the first player to win both awards in the same year. His move costed the club sixty million Euros.
The fee was not high for no good reason as Haaland played a pivotal role in the club winning by scoring a total of 52 goals in the 2022 Premier league. He has won several other awards and he is also known for scoring hat-tricks.
Haaland’s father was also a professional football player who played for Leeds United in the Premier League. His mother was a heptathlon athlete. His cousins Jonatan Braut Brunes and Albert Tjåland are also professional soccer players.
His list of awards include the 2023 Premier League Golden Boot, the European Golden Shoe and the Gerd Müller Trophy. He was also included in the FIFA FIFPro World11 for 2021, 2022 and 2023. In 2023 again Haaland was named UEFA Men’s Player of the Year, IFFHS World’s Best Player and finish runner-up in the Ballon d’Or.
In 2016, Haaland featured in a single track titled ‘Kygo jo’ under the group name Flow Kingz. The group was made up of his Norway under-17 teammates Erik Botheim and Erik Tobias Sandberg. The song has over 12 million views on YouTube.
