Dreaming is real and part of our lives. It gives us some sort of meaning and boosts our drive to work hard and try to realise those dreams. You may also get a sense of purpose which brings positive to our minds.

Again we are always encouraged to draw up plans which we will follow to achieve those particular dreams. The plan has steps to be followed and the processes to get to a certain point.

Some people set targets that are to be met in a specific time frame. We’ll the struggle is real. They run around and work extra hours to get things done accordingly.

All this is good and meant to bring satisfaction to the individuals. The problem comes when these targets are not met and things don’t go as planned.

We tend to get frustrated if things don’t go our way yet we forget that there are so many things that are beyond our control. We don’t know what tomorrow holds so planning does not change that.

Tomorrow is a mystery that only those who are flexible enough to adjust to situations will enjoy. Planning doesn’t guarantee that things will go your way. You can only hope for the best.

Never expect life or things to happen in the exact way you want them to. Frustration, anger and disappointment are what we feel when things go south but this can be minimised.

You can minimise these feelings by going with the flow. The current is always too strong for you to swim against. So, simply go with the flow and you will not sink.

People end up getting depressed, some commit suicide and some end up in crime because they were trying to force things to happen in their own way. People who always get what they want are those who can do anything bad or good to get what they want.

Would you like to be a bad person just to get things to go your way? Allow things to flow naturally. Just do what you have to do and leave the rest to sort itself out.

Be wise enough to know what to do when and how when things are not in your favour. No matter how careful you are you still make mistakes. No matter how intelligent you are, you still get challenged sometimes.

Do your planning but keep in mind that planning doesn’t ultimately give you control of how things should happen. There are people who work harder than you but they are still earning less than you earn.

There are people who planned to get married and have kids but they did get married but never had kids. Some set goals to be graduates at a certain age but they are still not yet graduates.

What happens tomorrow is not in your control! Always remember that and be grateful of where you are today because someone is dreaming of getting there someday.

Being thankful always brings happiness and peace to the inner you. Be content with what you have achieved and keep working and hoping for better. Life is not a competition so don’t allow yourself to worry about other people’s achievements.
